This workshop will bring together currency engravers and security design professionals to explore current developments and future challenges in banknote engraving. Topics will include AI-driven projects, the concept of proofs, engraving tools and techniques, protecting intaglio features in banknotes, software applications, and the increasing complexities of modern currency design and production.
The session will encourage discussion on emerging opportunities for engravers, evolving technologies, and the challenges facing the profession as security features continue to advance. Participants can expect an interactive exchange of ideas and practical insights into the future of currency engraving.
